Something wicked this way comes...
21 November 2019 | by vuileharrySee all my reviews

After the previous two episodes 'The laughing Place' and 'The Mother', that were both totally breathtaking imo, it is time for 'The Word'. An episode that is not really as spectacular and generous as the last two, but feels more like a very necessary step on a ladder so we can get even higher up.

We take this step and travel to the past for most of the episode. This is something that always makes me somewhat nervous, as I feel they will take a break from the story that really interests me to instead bore me with a history-lesson that doesn't.

But don't fear! This episode is very far from boring! It's dark and full of horror and uncomprimising. And it will give you such a large and interesting chunck of information about what's going on presently in Castle Rock, that by the end of it you'll be even more hyped up to see what the rest of this wonderful series will bring.

Or maybe on second thought.... DO FEAR, as clearly far more darkness than you expected is coming to Castle Rock....
