Entertaining...lack of facts and procedures notwithstanding.

I honestly don't know why these writers don't get the facts straight about military procedures or history. I assume it has to do with either artistic license or some hidden narrative. Either way, I do find the show entertaining for the most part, even with the endless soap operas. These men and women know what they're in for when they become SEALS, so all this back and forth with loved ones is, again, indicative of a show balanced between loose military procedures and an emotional element. Personally, I'd prefer to keep all the personal stuff out of it and just focus on realistic SEAL ops and the people who provide digital oversight.
