The Family (2013)
Entertaining, Funny, Clever
I quite enjoyed this film. It was a very entertaining movie, full of laughs! It was refreshing see Robert DiNero in a light hearted film, alongside Tommy Lee Jones.
This film had a very light sense to it, with a hint of a dark atmosphere!
Overall I would say it was quite an excellent film, however raunchy it may be and refreshing change from your typical Rogan movie.
I hope this review on "The Family" was helpful to whomever decides to read this.
The Boss (2016)
Fun, Amusing, Overall A Bad Movie
"The Boss" starts with a bang, which just slowly seems to die out into an attempted feel-good movie.
Peter Dinklage, playing Renauldo does a great job as the simple minded, ex-lover and obsessive character.
Melissa McCarthy is at most a mediocre actress with very little talent, and seems to only get by with her swearing and bluntness in movies.
Kristen Bell alongside Peter Dinklage are the only redeeming qualities in this film.
The Boss had a good idea to it, just poor choice of casting for the main role, and poorly executed plot.
The Boondock Saints (1999)
Action Packed, Violently Beautiful, Masterpiece, A Classic
I have watched The Boondock Saints many times and each time it just gets better and better.
Norman Reedus does a phenomenal job playing Murphy MacManus. Norman Reedus fits the physical appearance and the acting skill to pull off such a masterful job.
Sean Patrick Flanery also does a phenomenal job playing Connor MacManus. Such an intense actor, who just shoots off amazing vibes as Connor.
Pro: The film itself is quite well shot, with surprising twists at every corner. Bullets spraying in the past, present, and even more in the future! A movie that keeps the heart racing.
Con: I can't think of one to be quite honest.
Messy, Entertaining, Great Performance
Ben Affleck adds a much darker and personal feeling to Bruce Wayne a.k.a Batman then his predecessors.
Henry Cavill, brings an extremely powerful performance to the big screen in Batman VS Superman.
Though let's discuss the actual movie. It was quite messy in regards to the way the scenes were ordered and at times downright confusing. The acting on both Henry Cavill's and Ben Affleck's part made up for the lack of story filling.
The movie definitely did a great job in filling in blanks in both Superhero's lives.
Overall, I say the movie is well worth the watch. Though do not go to the theater expecting it to be the next big thing.
