Funny and well made show
7 February 2020
Mythic quest: Ravens Banquet is part of Apple TV's first go's at original content, and I can't tell you how glad I am that they chose Rob Mcellhenny and Charlie Day to make a show with them. This show looks at the insane ego a person in these positions can get, and how they are willing to sacrifice their employees work conditions to get the results that they want. I'm a huge IASIP fan so I'm familiar with the humor they usually go for. The idea of a video game company isn't something we have never seen before, but every other time it's used as a gimmick without actually knowing how games work. In no way is this a perfect show, but, this is a pretty intelligent show. It's almost to gaming, what Silicon Valley is to tech companies. Some realism is lost through gags and bits but it's one of the most accurate depictions of game studios I've seen. Danny Pudi and David Hornsby are both great in this. So is Rob. This is a quality show. And guys, I know it's not a perfect show, but can you actually give it a go before bashing on it. Thank you

Nine Nine is back
7 February 2020
Well here we are, for the 7th season, crazy to think that a show like this was cancelled. This episode is great, classic Brooklyn Nine Nine fun. Vanessa Bayer is absolutely amazing and so is this whole episode. Hers to another great season!

Sad to see it go. Thankful we got to experience it
31 January 2020
The good place wraps up after 4 seasons, in one of the best ways I could have imagined. I loved the run this show had and loved all of the characters. The connection you feel to each person is is unparalleled. I am sad that it's finished, but I think it was the right time to go. The writing has not only been hilarious, but deeply sad and thought provoking at times. This is one of the only shows where I had no idea where the next episode was going to go. Each season surprised me in the best way. It's so easy to look past some of the things this show has achieved, the incredible set and costume design had continued to blow me away. The good place will always be a special show that I can come back to and enjoy. Sometimes, something ending so soon, can make it feel infinitely more special

Magnificently insane
24 January 2020
This is by far one of the craziest movies I've ever seen, and I loved every moment of it. The surrealness of the humor, the crazy colored costume design, and the hilarious performances make this something special. A lot of the people who reviewed this on the lower half seem to have misunderstood what the movie was supposed to be. It turns what seems to be nonsense into amazing story arcs. I found myself laughing VERY hard at the strangest moments, the whole world that this movie sets up is mind boggling. Putting politeness over having any confrontation in the most extreme circumstances. The uncomfortableness of the whole neighborhood and every person in it makes this movie a whole lot of fun. I wish there were more movies that could make me burst out laughing with showing some kids flaunting knives. This is one of the few movies that deserves the cult status shorty after releasing. The whole cast is great, I can't wait to see what the writer/director duo come up with next

Touching
24 January 2020
Well we're almost there, it's been a great ride. As we start to wrap up to the end of this wonderful show, it's become so satisfying to see episodes like this. This episode is brilliant. Making conflict out of something that is supposed to be perfect. Amazing writing. Can't wait to see how it all works out in the end

Has a lot going for it
20 January 2020
I am definitely a fan of Armando Iannucci, coming from veep and the death of Stalin. So I was excited for this show. I think it is a pretty good comedy, with a good cast, Zach woods being the shining star, as he often is. There is things that this show does not as well, such as the tone and the inconsistency of joke quality. I think there is a lot of potential for the rest of the season and I am very hopeful that it gets better. I will definitely keep watching to see how it goes. I also find it silly to compare this to the Orville since that isn't what this show is trying to be. The 2-3 star reviews on here don't make a ton of sense to me, saying that every joke falls flat, I found a lot of moments funny. In no way was the pilot perfect, but I think it could be a very good season

Encapsulating
12 January 2020
It has been a slow moving ride to get here but it's all been worth it, I have thoroughly enjoyed the series so far, and don't understand the critiques of it being way to boring. I think it is actually the shows strength to feed the audience information slowly. Now i understand that some episodes can feel a bit tedious but I find it incapsulating to theorize what is really happening in the show. This episode definitely answered questions that we've been waiting for, and successfully showed some truly shocking moments. I hope the finale gives us some more answers. Excited for season 2

Funny and charming
24 December 2019
John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch is a children's musical special, which seams weird at first but after watching, I think they cooked up something magical. My first question when I heard about this was, what's the tone? Is it gonna be awkward balancing kids and adult humor, but all that was answered by the first song, which happens to be one of the catchiest things I've ever heard. It feels sweet, but also sarcastic. It would be easy to make a special like this as a sort of anti kids special. But I think with John Mulaney's seemingly boundless talent, they handled it perfectly. It's very very funny

I couldn't ask for anything more
9 December 2019
Silicon Valley has been one of my favorite shows ever since I started it, the hilarious cast, the amazing complex writing and the overall intelligence of the show. This finale hit hard, I felt happy and sad at the same time. I think that this is a perfect way to end a show, and I don't think I could have wanted anything else, okay maybe a proper TJ Miller cameo but I'll be okay. Loved it loved it loved it

This season didn't need salvation
21 November 2019
I've enjoyed season 14... a lot, I think every episode has been a distinguished and hilarious ride. This is a bottle episode that doesn't stop with amazing writing and laugh out loud jokes. Charlie and Dennis is one of my favorite dynamics so this episode was a treat, but the whole cast had their own funny moments. This season was above and beyond what I expected, and I hope this show never ends, cause I have faith that they would be able to keep this show just as good, forever.

Hilarious/as good as ever
21 November 2019
This is a classic sunny episode that's not afraid to push some boundaries, other reviews for this episode say that Sunny hasn't been good for years or that if you dislike this episode you must be a 'triggered liberal' I don't have time to explain why both of them are very wrong. This is a funny, witty and socially aware episode. I happen to love the last couple seasons basically as much as the older ones.

Self aware and hilarious
9 November 2019
This season has featured a lot of Tegridy farms, which I'm okay with, but some people aren't. This episode references that with its storyline, and it's genius. There's a couple reviews saying this episodes is "leftist propaganda" which is hilarious that people are still complaining about South Park making episodes about current politics. This is a funny episode, and it's been a pretty decent season so far. I'm happy with the state of South Park right now, I'm excited to see what the rest of the season is about.

Jenny is silly and likeable
22 October 2019
I like Jenny Slate, and I think this special perfectly captures her as a person. She is unpredictable and Silly, and I think that's what people love about her.

I think you can tell that she isn't a regular in stand up comedy, and a lot of the jokes were hit or miss for me. But I think the handful of things that made me laugh really hard made it worth watching.

If you like her, then watch it, and if you don't like her, give it a go anyway.

Very Enjoyable
18 October 2019
Paul Rudd has already proven to be an extraordinary actor, both in comedy and drama, So Hearing that there was a show coming out with Paul Rudd as two characters was already exciting. But actually watching the show and seeing it pay off is even better, I think they have done a great job at having a dramatic show, with goofy and funny ideas. The tone feels right and each episode is intriguing on its own. Not to mention the incredibly smooth effects they use make it seem like Paul Rudd is two different people. Good job Netflix, more of this please

One of the best season finales ever
14 October 2019
The righteous gemstones has been consistently amazing and hilarious throughout the whole season, exceeding all of my expectations. This episode a masterpiece of what television should be. HBO is hitting it out of the park, I honestly thing that this show could be seen as near perfect. John Goodman is the shining star of this episode acting wise, but I think all of the characters are wonderfully written. With season 2 already announced, I think this show could go down as one of the best comedies of all time.

A delight
12 October 2019
Tim has created something special here, something witty and hilarious. Mister America is a laugh out loud comedy with a purpose. The genius improvisation by Tim while interacting with real people is the shining star of this film, but the amazing story pulls it together to be a movie worth everyone's time. Even people who weren't Heidecker fans before could very much enjoy this film. It feels real, and I applaud everyone who worked on it.

Superstore: Testimonials (2019)

this episode is hilarious
4 October 2019
Superstore is back for another episode following the story of Mateo potentially being deported, this is a classic superstore episode with the same funny jokes. There was a review (it has been deleted) for this episode below claiming that Mateo deserves everything because he's illegal, so this episode isn't funny to him... Do you not remember the part about Mateo having no idea that he was undocumented? This episode isn't pushing an agenda, it just has a realistic storyline. And even if your a stone cold racist, Marcus always makes an episode worth it anyway

Very funny and smart comedy
19 August 2019
I've been waiting for this show ever since the sneak peak image of the cast released a couple months ago and frankly, I am not disappointed, Danny McBride is hilarious and so is the rest of the cast. There of course will be some negative reviews on here saying that it's anti Christian propaganda, but I don't see it as that at all. This is a satire on how power of any sort can be corrupted. HBO has landed another great comedy, excited to keep watching.

One of the most creative shows i have seen in a long time
21 July 2019
Matt Johnson and Jay McCarrol have created something spectacular, something different to anything I've ever seen. This show is living proof that a big budget doesn't make a show good, its about the creativity put into it. I honestly believe that both Matt and Jay are comedy genius's and that this show ranks as one of the best comedies ever. Nirvana the band the show deserves 100 times more attention than its already getting.

Aziz Ansari: Right Now (2019 TV Special)

Handled perfectly
9 July 2019
I think everyone knows, Aziz was in a very tough situation recently, and if he wanted his career to keep going, he was going to have to move carefully and considerately. This special is masterfully done, I saw it live and I loved it. Aziz shows himself to be humble and looks to have really grown from the incident, but other than that, this special is hilarious. Aziz focuses a lot on 'woke' culture and how it has changed the world. I think he has made the correct steps and I hope he jumps back into not only consistent stand up specials, but television too. Very very funny. 10/10

Something different in comedy
24 May 2019
The lonely island have consistently released hilarious content. Pop star comes to mind when trying compare this to something. But this is much different, like the title, It's an experience. it's something I will watch again and again, all the songs are absolutely amazing and the production for the music videos are crazy. I think the lonely island have struck gold with this, I've been listening to the album on repeat since it came out, i highly recommend this to any comedy fans

The payoff of two seasons of insanity
20 May 2019
Without giving it away, Berkman/Block gives us a thrilling ending to the season. I'm convinced everyone who works on the show is an absolute genius, there's not one point during the show where I knew what was going to happen. This is one of the darkest, most frustrating and emotional episodes of tv I've ever watched. And I loved every second of it. Bill Hader is incredible, it still shocks me every time when Barry goes into a dark place, the pure anger the character shows is amazing. I can't wait for season 3

Outstanding
17 May 2019
Being the second last episode of season 6, sicko was a blast from start to finish, it reminds me a lot of fugitive episodes. If there was an episode checklist, this episode would tick all the boxes, actual story development, great character arcs and a high stakes. Andre Braugher was my personal favorite in this episode

Suicide squad/season 6 review
17 May 2019
As season 6 comes to a close I found myself satisfied with how it went. Strong writing, some very good guest directing and as always, great characters. Without giving it away, suicide squad feels like a memorable episode, it was hilarious and just well done. I don't like saying that my favorite characters are the lead but Andy Samberg as Jake is the best part about this episode, and basically the whole show. I had a small fear that season 6 would be a strange season that had weird differences that didn't work after the network change (like community and arrested development) but I found it to be classic, hilarious and amazing. Thanks to the cast and crew. Can't wait for season 7!

Basically flawless at this point
14 May 2019
I've written reviews for every episode of season 2 so I could do the "This is a masterpiece, best show on television" stuff but I've said those things many times before. The thing that makes this episode feel specifically special is the performances of the whole supporting cast. Anthony Carrigan (NoHo Hank) Sarah Goldberg (Sally) stood out to me this episode. I can't wait to see the finale
